Setting the Pace currently sets out the University’s key strategic directions and articulates the purpose of our university, our vision for the future and our key guiding principles. However, our Mission, Vision and Guiding Principle statements are now approaching the end of their ten year life cycle. They have served the University well in providing an overall context and strategic direction for our achievements over the last ten years.

As we enter our third decade, it is timely to undertake a review of all the components of Setting the Pace. The review will provide us with an opportunity to reflect on our progress and achievements to date and will help us determine the best way for UTS to position itself for the future.

Own the Future- the draft UTS Strategic Plan New!

We have made significant progress on the development of our next strategic plan since our discussions in August and September. Thank you to all those staff who have taken the opportunity to provide us with feedback over the course of the review.

The final version of the plan will be presented to Council on 10 December 2008. However you invited to review the latest version of the plan (UTS Strategic Plan) and to provide any final comments you may have by Friday 21 November. Please focus comments on the intent and spirit of the plan. We are continuing to refine the wording and the formatting, which will be done professionally over the next two weeks.
